MINNERS FARM LIVERIES

Minners Farm Liveries is a small private DIY livery yard situated between Ashford and Tenterden, in Bethersden Kent.

We pride ourselves in providing a worry free and professional service for all our clients. Whether you own a top class competition horse or a trusty family friend you will find all you could need here.

We are lucky to boast excellent facilities here at Minners Farm.

We have a 60 x 20 sand and rubber school which is very well floodlit for those winter evenings and early mornings. There are a selection of show jumps and practice cross country fences. We also have a 5 bay horsewalker which has a rubber matted floor.

The yard is made up of 8 rubber matted internal stables which are very well ventilated and fully alarmed. There are tie up areas inside and outside and also a wash down area. Your horse will be cared for by highly qualified and experienced staff who live on site.

The yard is surrounded by 12 acres of very well managed grazing. The land is split into 5 large paddocks and one small paddock. This allows us to turn the horses out in small groups. The small paddock is reserved for those horses recovering from an injury, those not requiring too much turnout or those that need to lose a few pounds! All paddocks are post and rail fenced with excellent hedgerows and trees for shelter.

There is a large hay barn with ample storage for and hay and bedding, and a separate vermin proof feed room again with enough space to store feed and supplements. The fully alarmed tack room has space for all tack, rugs, boots and all the other items we horse owners seem to ‘collect!’.

We have ample car parking for all vehicles including horseboxes and trailers.

We are 2 minutes away from the new South Bethersden TROT association toll ride. This ride offers some miles of off road hacking through woodlands and fields. There are also plenty of quiet lanes to go for a leisurely hack. For those lucky enough to have transport, Hempstead Forest, Bedgebury Forest and Camber Sands are all close by. There is always someone willing to share the diesel costs!

For our clients convenience we also have a toilet and small kitchen with a fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities.

Lessons and clinics can be arranged here by request of our clients. You tell us who you want to teach you here and we will do our upmost to arrange it. We have an onsite instructor, or your own instructors are more than welcome to teach here.

We have a yard vet, farrier, dentist and saddler, but again, your own are more than welcome to visit your horse here.
